I am a student and an English teacher; I'm not a policeman. You are a doctor and she is a secretary. The man is an engineer; he isn't a president.

"a president" could be confusing here, particularly in the US. "President" by itself is understood to mean the country's President. You may want to word this as:
"The man is an engineer, he isn't president of the company."
Or something like that.
